Cybersecurity & Information Security

Students who complete the Cybersecurity track earn up to 19 stackable credits, including an undergraduate Certificate of Proficiency in Cybersecurity, that apply directly to undergraduate degree programs at Peirce College.

Graduates of this track are also prepared for the CompTIA Security+ exam, which validates the baseline skills necessary to perform core security functions and pursue an IT security career. Security+ is widely considered by employers as the first security certification a candidate should earn as it establishes the core knowledge required of any cybersecurity role and provides a springboard to intermediate-level cybersecurity jobs.

Peirce counselors will connect graduates with employment opportunities in the region and help them apply for jobs, prepare for interviews and leverage the College’s alumni network.
