Medical Coding

Students who complete the Medical Coding track earn up to 22 stackable credits, including an undergraduate certificate in Medical Coding, which apply directly to undergraduate degree programs at Peirce College.

Graduates are prepared to sit for the AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist (CCS®) exam or the AAPC Certified Professional Coder CPC® exam, which are highly valued and often preferred by employers.

Peirce counselors will connect graduates with employment opportunities in the region and help them apply for jobs, prepare for interviews and leverage the College’s alumni network.
