Course Developers

DUTIES:

Responsible for the development of a graduate course(s) in Higher Education Leadership. The specific course topic includes, Diversity, Inclusion, and Social Justice in Higher Education.

SMEs are currently being hired to develop hybrid courses for the Peirce Fit delivery mode in collaboration with the faculty and instructional design teams.

SMEs may also have the opportunity to teach these courses within the Higher Education Leadership program beginning the Summer of 2021.

REQUIREMENTS:

Doctorate preferred. Master’s degree in higher education, adult education, or a related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in developing and teaching graduate courses.  Credential requirements may vary depending on degree program accreditation/approval. Demonstrated ability to listen carefully, to interpret accurately and to respond to a high volume of requests. High degree of professionalism and confidentiality. Computer literacy, the understanding of active learning, adult learning theory and principles, along with strong interpersonal and communications skills are essential.

May vary to include day, evening, and weekend responsibilities, as required.
