Course Developers / Subject Matter Experts in Operations Management

DUTIES:

Responsible for the development of graduate courses in Operations Management. Course topics to include: Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Data Analytics, and Information Technology Leadership.

SMEs will be hired during the Spring of 2020 and beyond to develop hybrid courses for the Peirce Fit delivery mode in collaboration with the faculty and instructional design teams.

SMEs may also have the opportunity to teach these accelerated courses within Operations Management beginning the Fall of 2020.

REQUIREMENTS:

Doctorate preferred. Master’s degree in management or a related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in developing and teaching graduate courses in Operations Management. Credential requirements may vary depending on degree program accreditation/approval. Demonstrated ability to listen carefully, to interpret accurately and to respond to a high volume of requests. High degree of professionalism and confidentiality. Computer literacy, the understanding of active learning, adult learning theory and principles, along with strong interpersonal and communications skills are essential.

STATUS:

Contracted part-time.

HOURS:

May vary to include day, evening, and weekend responsibilities, as required.
